The program is open to individuals with physical fitness, higher education, good character, and professional ethics. Historically, participants include

The program is open to police, military, intelligence staff, and other Somali security institution representatives.

The program extends to public sector employees, encompassing government representatives and officers

The program includes representatives from NGOs, media, and other third-sector organizations

The program is open to professionals from the private sector, academia, and various other organizations.

Admission Requirement

Any applicant who wants to enroll in any of the higher diploma programs offered by the Institute is required to meet the following requirements

Hold a degree from a recognized university

Maintain an average graduation score of at least 70% or C+

Candidate must be under 45 years old

Demonstrate language skills

Have no affiliation with extremism or terrorism

Pay registration fee & first semester's instalment

Complete and sign the institute's terms agreement form

Register in two steps and submit required documents

The enrolment into any of the institute’s programs goes through two phases

Phase one

Applicant visits the institute's online registration link

Applicant fills out the online form with their information

Phase Two

The institute conducts the registration process

Priority is given to security officials & civil servants

Accepted applicants submit completed applications

Program Selection

Applicants are restricted to enrolling in a single Higher Diploma program due to the program's substantial weight and research demands

Interview, Assessment

Between the two registration phases, applicants undergo an interview and assessment conducted by the institute's admission team

Registration Completion

After registration, students are issued a student ID card, officially enrolling them in the institution

Scholarships

The Higher Institute for Security Studies offers scholarships that will be earned in accordance with the Institute’s scholarship merit system. The institute will consider the applicants that qualify for any scholarships.
